# Plex not automatically selecting the correct audio language

Under “_Account_” settings I have checked “_Automatically select audio and subtitle tracks_” and set _Preferred Audio Language_ to **Japanese** but Plex is not selecting Japanase audio.

I have freshly downloaded anime series Initial D and I have to manually change the audio language to for each episode to Japanese.

I have not previously set audio language on any of the episodes.  
Audio is correctly recognized as **Japanese (AAC Stereo)** but it uses **English (AAC 5.1)** instead.

How can I fix this?

Also, why is Japanese written in kanji in the language dropdown menu? Can’t you add “Japanese” in brackets next to kanji for people who can’t read kanji.
