I have a folder on my NAS with home videos ive saved over the years. They are all MP4 files, and all of them play fine directly from my nas. When I go to add them to a new library I select “Other Videos” then brose to the folder. After that Plex says “Other Movies is empty” Ive deleted them, re-added them, scanned the folder multiple times. Plex has full control to the folder etc etc. adding music and movies works just fine…but not home videos. Ive got the latest version of plex as well. I just dont get it…It shouldn’t be this difficult to add a folder of home movies.
