# Plex Not loading My Media Server

Plex was working well up to today. I tried to access my library and it would not load. Plex self update and since then I am not able to access my files. I deleted it and reinstalled it and still not working. I even reset my whole computer losing everthing and still it will not find my server. funny thing those I accidently sign on with another email of mine and it allowed me to upload my library though that account. I am I plex Lifetime memeber and don’t understand why it not working anymore. Can someone please help. Is my server for my lifetime pass locked or what???

Same here. It was working late last night/early this morning, then a few hours later it will not recognize the media server. On any of three devices - a Roku stick, a Roku TV or the android app. I have ensured the latest versions are on the media server as well as the devices. I can play media through Plex on the computer that acts as the server, but cannot access the server from any of the remote apps.

I discovered that if I disable Avast Antivirus, I can now see the server. Is this what you are using for your antivirus as well by any chance?
