# Plex not working on LG smart tv

Seeing same error thrown on LG TV. Uninstalled app – reinstalled/updated app – updated server (on PC Win10) … no change… app will not come up at all or allow any config.

I’m getting the same thing. WebOS v05.80.50. Plex App v2.1.3.

Same message here. I did find a Plex help document that states they support up to Web OS 4.x. My tv, as well as others I’ve seen, are saying they’re on 5.x. Either Plex has decided to stop supporting LG and other smart TVs or they have not pushed out an update to deal with this.

Ok check this out. I can play Plex on my cell phone and cast it to my chromecast. I have a Samsung TV with that app downloaded but Plex can not see my server but it seems the name of my server. Also I have about 4 firesticks/TVs. Plex works on only half of them. Plex works on my Vizio which is on the same network as my Samsung. Please HELP!!!
