I just downloaded PlexNotify on my laptop. But the app doesn’t seem to fit properly on my monitor. Seems like the app is too big for my screen. It cuts off a lot of the toggles so I can’t use a lot of the features. Is there a fix for this??

there is not fix for this but you can manually configure it by going to c:\Programdata\Plex Notify

Heads up tomorrow the plex notify codeplex will be closed. I will be updating to the new website.

The Plex Notify Service will be available late tomorrow, possibly monday.

I am wrapping up API documentation now. [http://www.plexnotify.com/api/](http://www.plexnotify.com/api/) I will be slowly adding to it over the next 24 hours and will do my best to complete it for the service.

Please note the service will not send notificaitons, also the UI will not be available until release. The service will however collect data and that data will be available via the API.

Once the API for adding triggered notifications is done I will release that ASAP.

With the current version you cannot.

With the service you may be able to run it with Wine or Mono. although I have not tried it.

This is an interesting idea running Plex Notify using Wine or Mono. I just finished building my own nas which is running OpenMediaVault and everything is running perfectly. Now that everything is setup the way I want, I would like to start testing other applications such as Plex Notify and have it run on the same system. From what I understand Mono works best running CLR/CLI/VES suites (makes CLR.exe applications run) and Wine is a Win32 API implementation (makes win32.exe applications run). Base on how you created Plex Notify, which one would work best with Plex Notify? Am I correct to think that both Mono and Wine will both run ".NET"?

this is great jbur, really impressive work.

I seem to stumble upon some issues. I successfully installed the service and set PMS via the API (using postman, got the correct response).

However, when i try to retrieve data using it, such as using getallmovies, I get an empty response:

```
```

There are no logs generated at the log dir. Mongo DB does appear to contain data as I see the PmsHost, PmsPort & Updateinterval object set.

I tried running it in debug mode, but i see no reply to any command I send (maybe i'm using it incorrectly).

Plex Notify only catalogs the movies it has seen playing so if no one has watched one yet it wont return anything. Plex Notify will not catalog your while Library, only the media that is played.

also, I do not debug message for API commands Thats a good Idea though I will add one in them in for tonight's build.

no you have to actually start watching it and it will show up in plex notify within 10 seconds. the default update interval is 10 seconds.

I was gonna keep this running via always up but o guess it will be ok as a nativer service. Either way excited as always. Can’t wait to get all the features implemented. Feel like an admin with his hands tied behind his back. Crazy plex hasnt gotten arround to any of this. Still grateful for what they and you have done though.
