# Plex on PS3 traffic

Does anyone know if that when you use the Plex channel/app on ps3 doe sit stream from the media server locally through the lan or actually stream through the internet, i seem to get issues with buffering when i use the app/channel, but if i use the dlna/media server and select the files i get no issues.
