Plex on qnap server - TV library grouping all under one name

That’s the same as you had above.

• You have only “season” folders, but no “show” folder. Fix that.
• there is a space character between the season and episode number. Remove it.

If you expect it to work as advertised, follow the rules.

Now that you have a show folder, you can abbreviate the names of the season folders to just Season 01 etc.

After naming wrong and renaming repeatedly, you almost certainly need to perform the Plex Dance.

Verify that

• the library is of the type “TV Shows” and
• that it is pointed at the folder /TV Shows and nowhere else
• see this collection, Q14 in particular Qnap faq.....read me first!

Make sure to perform the Plex Dance in full, all steps, in the denoted order. Otherwise it is pointless.

Read and follow the documentation and it works.

    /Season 01 <-- "Season" in English
      /Into the Badlands s01e01 The Fort.ext <-- ext = mkv/mp4/etc.

Moving the files now, what about deleting the shared folder and recreating it?

Scan Files
Empty Trash
Clean Bundles
Move the files back.
