# Plex on tv subtitle problem

Hello,
I have a problem only on the versions of Plex available on TVs, which prevents me from launching a video with subtitles no matter what its quality.
But if I watch it on the Pc/Mac client or on a smartphone, I don’t encounter any problems.
I want to specify that this is for subtitles in ASS format.
Has anyone had this problem and if so how did you fix it?

Go into the settings of the Plex app on your TV.
There is a setting called “Burn Subtitles”. Play with it.
ASS subtitles are currently not fully supported on Android. If you can, use a SRT subtitle instead.
