Scrolled to the bottom of the homepage to find the support link and saw a link for “Plex Pass Pro”. Link goes to here:

$299 seems to be an alright price…if you need the professional install. My question is will this be replacing the $150 Plex Pass? I’ve got a buddy I’ve been bugging about getting a Plex Pass, but he’s been holding out for a sale. Should I be forewarning him that maybe he should jump now before the $150 version is history?

The Plex Pass Pro program is not replacing the standard price of a PlexPass subscription.
The $299 cost for a PlexPass Pro installation includes the PlexPass subscription as well as professional setup/installation.
An Authorized Plex Installer will come to your home and set up your Plex server, configure your Plex clients, and help you enjoy all your movie, TV show, music, and photo collections at your fingertips. All this for just $299.99 USD. Anywhere you go, on all the devices you love, if you want the easiest way to enjoy all your media, then Plex Pass Pro is for you.
What’s included
Plex Pass: Includes a Lifetime Plex Pass
Installation: In-home installation and set up
Expert Help: Hands-on support from an expert installer
Thanks for the reply. I’ve been bugging my buddy to just purchase the Plex Pass for quite a while (I first purcahsed a monthly subscription and knew within two weeks that I loved it and upgraded to Lifetime at full price) but he’s seen post on Reddit about people finding it for half-off at times (I’ve never seen it on sale, but since I’m already a Lifetime pass holder, it’s not on my radar). Thought I’d warn him if the regular pass was going bye-bye, but I guess he can continue to wait.
Thanks again,
Allan
