I have linked Tidal Hifi with Plex, but still don’t have access to all the Plex pass features, please help!!! I restarted my server ---

these instructions are rubbish. There is no “purchase”, I can only get the 30 day free trial. And it doesn;t redirect to to the Tidal site. And it’s making me pay for my subscription twice. 🥵🥵🥵 ---

Go to this page: [https://www.plex.tv/tidal/](https://www.plex.tv/tidal/) (the instructions say so too) Scroll to the bottom of it. Pick your Tidal plan. Either subscription starts as a 30-day trial, which turns automatically into a regular subscription after this period, if you don’t cancel it. That’s why the buttons say ‘start 30day free trial’. ---

The instructions make no mention of a trial, only > 1. Choose to “purchase” the add-on plan that corresponds to the one you already have directly through TIDAL So do I cancel my existing one as I don;t want to be charged twice? ---

I just got word that the ability to switch your existing Tidal subscription over, to be billed through Plex has been put ‘on hold’. There were some bugs reported by other users. My recommendation for you would be to wait at least a few days, not doing anything, until these issues have been ironed out. ---

Not fully yet, as I understand it. Here is the official statement: We definitely plan to offer the ability to “convert” an existing TIDAL subscription to be billed/managed through Plex (instead of through TIDAL). We’re currently working through a few issues related to that, but we hope to have the functionality available soon. We’ll be updating our [https://support.plex.tv/articles/adding-tidal-subscriptions-to-plex/#toc-0](https://support.plex.tv/articles/adding-tidal-subscriptions-to-plex/#toc-0) article to provide information on how to do that once the functionality is available. I’d recommend occasionally checking that article (say, sometime next week, perhaps) so you know when it’s available. Apologies for any inconvenience. In the meantime, you can simply link to your existing TIDAL subscription (also outlined in that article) so that you have access to TIDAL content in Plex, if you haven’t done so already. ---

I wish they had a better deal for Tidal HiFi for those of use who already have a lifetime Plex pass. ---
