# Plex pass

Hello, i don’t know where to ask, to receive answer.  
I buy the plex pass especially to have live tv +dvr.  
My server runing on linux, but i can’t setup, tried link and automatically too.

Please advice me what to do. I believe if this won’t work, i don’t wish this feature.

so where in the setup process are you stuck?  
is your Plex server up and running?  
if so, you should be able to activate DVR via `Settings > Server > Live TV & DVR`.

Also, have you purchased a digital tuner, and connected it to an antenna or cable source?  
A PlexPass doesn’t give you content, just the ability to record things you already have coming in.
