# Plex pass

Hello,

If I purchase the plex pass via Google play would it be proper plex, for pc and android? Or just for mobile?

A Plex Pass is a Plex Pass, whether purchased via Google Pay, Amazon, Apple, or direct from Plex.

From the support article linked below:  
_A subscription purchased in the app provides all the same features and benefits, but there are some slight differences in how it is managed when compared to a subscription through our website. Continue reading this full article for details._

Note that a Plex Pass is not the same as activating the mobile app. Mobile app activation (one time, $4.99USD) simply unlocks the mobile app, removing the one minute limit on streaming video…
