Plex Player in browser window doesn't see devices Sept 2021 (but Chrome browser does)

Chrome devices aren’t found by Plex as Cast targets any more.
But the Chrome browser does find and cast to my Chromecast devices.
(I also tried the Plex player (4.29.2) and the player does not see the devices)

This started a couple of weeks ago. All programs/firmware are up to date.

Yes, I have a workaround, but what’s going on?

Hi all. Some update (not Plex) seems to have fixed this. All good.

Cast from Plex seems to be much nicer than cast from Chrome (plays without displaying the webplayer).
