# Plex player on macOS

Server Version#: 1.27.2.5929  
Player Version#: 1.49.1.3146-73559c78

After upgrading plex media player to version 1.49.1.3146-73559c78, there are some files that cannot play from the local server. However, these files can play in the devices such as iPhone and iPad.

Please help to fix this, thanks

I guess for anybody to offer any serious help, you’ll need to share some more details… e.g.

- What version of PMS do you have installed and on what platform? → _version 4.76.1 is referring to the version of the web app that’s been shipping with every server release since PMS version 1.25.9 which was released in March_  
You can find the version of PMS installed on your server in Finder when checking out the PMS app or inside Plex via `Settings` \> `[Server Name]` \> `General`.
