After a recent firmware update, Plex is unavailable on my Netgear R9000. I have the option to download and install Plex but the download/install does not happen. The current server version shows “none”.
I posted on the Netgear forum, and it appears that others are also having a problem with Plex not updating. So far a solution has not been found (although someone was able to install an update manually but they had a working version of Plex still on there router).
I am posting here in case anyone may have a suggestion or solution…thanks.
Thank you for letting me know about the other thread regarding the current issue with Plex on the R9000. Hopefully it gets resolved sooner rather than later.
I literally just bought the router (specifically for Plex) and set it all up tonight and then find out they broke this feature. If I could only win the lotto with this kind of luck, lol
Hey everyone - this evening I found the Plex Server link issue to be resolved, the router had successfully installed Plex. Everything is working properly!
