plex remote access is allowed then quickly denied @ the public ip meets the internet

Hey everyone, I know there is many threads on remote access but I for the life of me can not figure it out.
Im simply running windows 10 with the stock firewall and the plex media server is allowed.
i have plex media server also port forwarded in my router @ 32400 and within my network it runs great and to all my devices. however when I try to enable the remote access it finds the connection (lights up green “connected”) but then quickly gets denied. It doesn’t matter if my firewall is off, pc rebooted, it simply does the same thing.
the router im running is the hitron cgnm-2250.
I’ve also tried manually changing the ip ending to something other then 32400 specifically for port forwarding to try and getting it to work without success. Its getting really annoying lol
I don’t know what else to do or where the blockage is as the private to public ip’s aren’t the problem. Its the public to internet part of the connection.

I have the same, although I have found that disabling the UPnP setting in the router did allow the remote access to remain on for around 20 secs, not a solution but its a start. I read that others suffering from the same problem found this to be the cure but it only gives me a few seconds. Worth a try though.
