Plex remote access with Mullvad on Ubuntu Desktop 2204

Using ATT Fiber router in IP passthrough mode to a NetGear R6700. R6700 has manual port forwarding to my PC with plex media server but remote access does not seem to work when Mullvad VPN is active. I have tried split tunneling by PID with the Mullvad CLI, but that does not seem to work either. Remote access work when VPN is disconnected. Any help or work around suggestion are appreciated!

I’m having the same issue. I suppose if I’m physically at the Linux device I can disable Mullvad when I want to direct connect but that seems cumbersome. I hope someone replies with a workaround.
