First off I don’t have Internet. Live in rural area, cell service is even shoddy. I brought my computer into town to update my libraries and I recently updated to version 1.2.2. Updated my libraries it wouldn’t find new metadata for tv episodes merely called them episode 1,2… and took the cover of tv show for new season info. Server was unavailable to be found on my network by any device. Roku, Android, Tv’s. Added Roku by IP address under no Auth needed. Now very small portion of my library will even play, everything else gives error of video unavailable make sure video is available and server is running. Watched episodes were all reset and show as unwatched. My server info on windows shows correct watched and unwatched episodes as well as poster art, just not on devices. Any Poster art that was changed from the first picture that showed is a blank box on any devices. Downgraded back to version 1.0.3 server is able to be found on all devices. All other problems listed are still in effect. My server will not stay logged in with my plex.tv account after I take my mobile Hotspot off. I have spent over 20 yours trying various solutions over last 2 weeks. Have went from rarely a problem and just always working to this mayhem. Any help would ne greatly appreciated. Thanks

You’re using IPV6 only. Turn on IPV4 and turn off IPV6 (if you can). PMS doesn’t work well with IPV6 (not at all actually) because Amazon (current host for most of PMS’s information) is IPV4 only.
I turn this off through windows or through plex?
If you need to use Plex without an available internet connection, you should prepare/configure it like shown in this post: https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/comment/1270859/#Comment_1270859
Ottokerner tried those settings still not playing files, signed out disabled remote access and entered ip as shown.
Also turned off support for ipv6 in Settings>Server>Network as well as under adapter options>properties of my ethernet cable and unchecked ipv6
Just don’t understand what changed I was running offline for about 7 months with no issues.
After you installed the new version, you need to play a representative sample of your files (use the Plex Web client and set the bitrate limit to a really low volume) while the server still has internet connectivity, so it can load some additional components for its transcoder.
Thanks so much yes this worked did not play a sample of different files so didn’t download comments for transcoder as soon as I did it played all files.
Thanks again for help from both of you.
