Plex server cannot connect the Internet. The internal and external IP become 'unknown'

Server Version#: QNAP server 1.40.3.8555
Player Version#: Plex for Windows 1.95.3.175-dd94cbd1

NAS Version#: QTS 5.1.7.2770 Intel
I do have a Lifetime Plex Pass

In the ‘Remote Access’ section. Although it tolds me ‘Fully accessible outside your network’, but the internal and external IP address in the settings become ‘unknown’, and I can’t visit my library from the Internet.

The internet connection of my NAS is available as usual, all the other service including the DDNS all going well. I can open the web page of my NAS through the Internet.

It seems only the Plex server can’t connect to the internet.

At the same time, I also cannot start to scan my library due to the Internet connection.

Do you have a PlexData shared folder so we can get the server logs
( or are you skilled at the ssh command line ) ?

I’d like to see the following:

  1. Restart PMS
  2. Let it flail around for about 3 minutes
  3. Stop it
  4. Grab the logs
  5. Attach here

PS: If you’ve already turned off DEBUG logging, you’ll need to manually edit Preferences.xml to turn it back on so we can see what’s happening.
