Server Version#: Plex 1.28.2.6151-7000
Player Version#: I don’t even know where to find this info

Hi, been using Plex for years with a few problems here and there but woke up today and noticed that the server is completely gone from Plex. All I see is this:

 ![image](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/plex/original/4X/f/5/7/f578cb15b5f37d9d3eb7c04d698386747a40fde4.jpeg)

I tried stopping and starting Plex service, rebooted the NAS a number of times, updated the Plex Server by downloading from Plex website and installing through the DSM, made sure my NAS was connected to the network which it is…all nada.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be the issue or have ideas on what I can at least try?

Thanks!

Hey thank you for that.

Oddly enough, your solution had nothing to do with the reason why I couldn’t connect, however, in following the steps suggested I was able to see that Plex didn’t have an outgoing network connection from the NAS Plex side which made me realize that it was probably my VPN being wonky.

Stopped and restarted the VPN and Voila!
