# Plex server move from raspberry to linux mini pc

Hi, today i’ll receive a mini pc beelink sei8 gen with intel i5 8259u processor, i’m currently using plex with raspberry… if i use ubuntu on beelink… can i copy the data from raspberry to beelink?otherwise if is not possible i’ll use preinstalled win10

If you think of this move as a ‘clone’ operation then you’ll have a better go.

Broad strokes:

1. With Plex stopped,
2. Prepare the mount points and then mount the media just as it is on the Pi
3. Make the tarball of `./Library`
4. Copy that to the new machine
5. Extract it
6. Chown to get UID/GID match
7. Start it up
