I have a Nvidia Shield 16Gb with a Synology Nas mounted, everything connected by Ethernet. All network set-up like port forwarding, static IP address are done and I don’t think are related to the following problem. Also as with 16gb of space Plex can run into some problems I followed the suggestion of setting the temp directory for transcoding on the NAS instead of the internal storage and disabled the thumbnail video preview.
For some weeks everything was fine but after a while accessing to media both on local than outside network started to be a bit buggy sometimes saying that a direct connection was unavailable, auto-match was not working, have to manual run several times library scan to make it recognize new media, … and then suddenly the server just completely stop working. No way to make it run again also from the Shield anything is accessible.
Finally I decided to reset everything and at first it worked great again but now I’m running in the same exact problem.
Please help, I really don’t know what to try for making it stable longer than a few weeks.
