# Plex Server, password changed and now will not connect

I have Plex pass and I decided to change my password.
Big mistake. I now cannot get into my server, it says it is unavailable and I have yellow circles everywhere.
I have tried to follow online help but it is beyond me, nothing about it seems simple.
Why is a password change so difficult and how do I get back into my server?

What happens if from your windows server you goto [http://127.0.0.1:32400/web](http://127.0.0.1:32400/web)

That link showed I was signed out and had to sign in.
Why is that a different screen than the regular sign in screen that I was going through?
At least I got there now.

If your server isn’t signed in, there’s no way for app.plex.tv to know it’s your server and direct you to it. When plex isn’t logged in, it allows login via the local loopback address (the url I gave you) for this reason. Not sure if it still does this, but if you right click on the tray icon and select launch plex, it used to open the loopback url.

Hi, I have the same issue. I turned on yesterday the 2FA with password change and today my server is gone. I turned off the 2FA now, but the issue remains. I tried to login in the local url many times but my server is not in the authorized list and can’t came back.
I don’t know what to do now. ☹
