# Plex Server Size on Disk

Server Version#: Version 1.26.0.5715  
Player Version#:  
Is it reasonable to have a 70Gb pleax server folder in the “user”/appdata?  
It just seems quite large.

no, not abnormal. Depends on how much metadata you have and other features you have enabled.

> user@server:/var/lib/plexmediaserver/Library/Application Support$ du -smh Plex\ Media\ Server/  
> 829G Plex Media Server/

You can relocate to another drive if needed. Do not relocate to a network drive.
