Plex server was hacked remotely - where is our 2FA? Where ?!

A new device was used to sign in to your Plex account:

  • Account: xxxxxxxx
  • Device: Plex
  • Location: Yaroslavl, Yaroslavskaya Oblast’, Russia (estimated)
  • IP address: 109.198.165.127

Yea uh, I’m in the USA… if we were able to have 2FA on our Plex account, this kind of crap wouldn’t happen. Someone using that IP decided to blow away my Plex server installation on my Linux box somehow.

I saw threads online where people pleaded to get 2FA for Plex… why are we still waiting?
