# Plex 'Skip Intro' Feature, for Commercial Breaks

Hi Everyone,
I had plex remove commercials after each recording, but this process is not perfect. So been using the
30 seconds fast foward feature when commercials start.
I love how plex included the SKIP INTRO button when watching a recorded show. I think it would
be a great idea if plex implemented that for commercial breaks. I know some sort of commercial sensing technology is already there for the remove commercial feature, that could be implemented in, Or maybe this option already exists but i cannot find it.
Looking forward to a feature like this (Pun intended)

Ad skip was recently added to the server and is available in certain clients (I’m not sure if there’s a complete list, but I know it works for Apple TV 4K). When configuring your DVR, or a specific recording, you should now have the option to “Detect commercials and mark for skip.” Here’s the support article which describes configuring it:
