# Plex support for both sub and dub

Hello there, I’m currently backing up some anime, and the source includes 2 separate files for both sub and dub. I can merge these into one MKV (2 audio streams, 2 video streams, and 2 subtitles) but I cant view both the Sub and the Dub on the server, I was wondering if there was a way to make it so that I have the choice of either sub or dub without creating a separate entry for them all as they are still the same films and TV Shows after all

Video has no language. So, choose the one that have better quality them merge it with the two audios. The other video you can discard.

If Video has 608s or other embedded subs, not marking, or mismarking the Video with a language will display those subs as Unknown, or just wrong.

If Video has subs - whatever language they’re in - is the language you apply.

Otherwise - it doesn’t matter.

In this case each video is slightly different due to the different speed of the languages, if i try to use one video source but a different audio source, they will run out of sync of each other
