# Plex TVDB Agent refuses to generate results

Server Version#: 1.32.0.6918
Player Version#: 4.100.1
I recently uploaded some Anime episodes to my server setup (Windows 10 based). The built-in match agent refuses to run and match this series. The HamaTV agent matches it with the wrong series. How and where do I fix this? In the past, I never had the TVDB agent come back and tell me there were no results for that series ID, even after I manually type it in, in the search box.
I keep getting the “No matches were found using this agent”
This has never happened to me before.
What am I not doing?

If the show exists on the TVDB and has a series ID you need to post the name of the show so they can report it to the metadata team

With Anime you sometimes have to put in additional research time.
It happens very often that a “new series” is actually just a new season of an existing series.
While the metadata sources of Hama tend to accept these as separate series, the regular metadata sources of Plex ([TheTVDB.com](http://TheTVDB.com) and [TheMovieDB.org](http://TheMovieDB.org)) do the (IMHO) better thing and add these as additional seasons.
You can use sites like [https://www.anisearch.com/](https://www.anisearch.com/) and/or Wikipedia for finding out what you actually have on hand.
Adding them as an additional season has of course an influence on how you are supposed to organize and name the files, for Plex to properly recognize them: [https://support.plex.tv/articles/naming-and-organizing-your-tv-show-files/](https://support.plex.tv/articles/naming-and-organizing-your-tv-show-files/)

unfortunately no nas, normal windows server with hdds matched as raid5 drive (Intel RST)

I was getting the same issue rolled back to the older version and it started detecting the shows again. I think there is an issue with the latest plex server update

no sorry, but I am getting:

as Version 1.32.0.6950 is now released, I just wanted to inform that the issue is not fixed. TVDB agent is still not able to find the show, TheMovieDatabase is working fine - so it seems to be an issue with the tvdb agent.

Are you able to reach this url: [https://api4.thetvdb.com/v4](https://api4.thetvdb.com/v4) ?
It should just return an “Unauthorized” message (that is normal).

Thank you all, I was able to get to the bottom of this on a Windows machine as this is the only platform it affects.
Fix is in the works.
