# Plex/TVDB Changing the episode order

Hello all!
I have an issue that has come up several times now and is getting old to go back and deal with over an over for a few different shows.
I have some shows that I have recorded for my daughters. When I put them into Plex I named them with the season & episode listing directly from [theTVDB.com](http://theTVDB.com) to make sure it was in the right season and episode spot. Months (and sometimes a year later) something has changed in [theTVDB.com](http://theTVDB.com) listing and now the episodes in [theTVDB.com](http://theTVDB.com) are different than what they were originally listed as when I entered them.
I have included a picture showing the current TVDB listing and the original listing of how the TVDB had it listed when I entered it.
I know some of you are going to ask if there’s any way that it was entered wrong? It is not possible that this many episodes, that I manually entered one at a time based on what was showing in the TVDB could be wrong. One or two, I get it, but the entire season changed around??
This has also happened with individual seasons in other shows as well, so this is not the first time it has happened to me. And as another note, I have checked the 5 other seasons (and specials) for this same show, and all other seasons are correct and have not changed.
Any help would be greatly appreciated to help prevent me from having to rename all the episodes in a season when this happens again, as I’m sure it will eventually.

Edit the tv show at its top level
go to the ‘Advanced’ tab
set the “Episode ordering” to “DVD order”
“Refresh Metadata” of the whole show
