# Plex update failed

First, snippets of [server logs](https://support.plex.tv/articles/200250417-plex-media-server-log-files/) aren’t going to do any of us that can read them any good. We need the full logs to do any kind of real troubleshooting.

Second anyone who attempts to troubleshoot this really should have all of the relevant information as to what was going on when this issue occurred that is detailed in [your feature request](https://forums.plex.tv/t/please-make-plex-less-controlling/763855).

Third, treating people the way you did in your other post and then running off to start another post where you purposely leave out the relevant information is not going to make you very many friends around here.
