I could not find this feature at all. I understand that when Plex has an available update it tells you in the browser window. However, I would really like to get an email, text, etc. When ever an update is available, because I am not always checking my Plex Server every single day.

- If this is already a feature please do tell. Or if there is a plugin that does this I would love to know that as well.

Thanks ,
Joe

It would be nice if the mobile app would just notify you yes

The Android mobile app already does that.

I’m pretty sure it will eventually come to iOS too.

Other than that, as @flow mentioned above, there is always this thread [Plex Media Server](https://forums.plex.tv/t/plex-media-server/30447/last) to which you can subscribe.

Early 2021 clean-up: implemented (in-app notifications, mobile notifications, option to get alerts by mail from the forum -\> release announcement category…)
