Since yesterday my web app can’t see any servers, it just spins. It never times out, never anything but spinning like it’s looking for servers. I can access all of my normal servers from my iPad, my iPhone, my Amazon Fire TV 2, and my Apple TV4 as normal (from the same network as well). I’ve disabled firewall to make sure something didn’t get triggered, but anything from https://app.plex.tv is in my allow list regardless. Please help! I’ve even tried signing in from another users computer (that was signed into his account in chrome where everything was working fine, and it did the same thing there when I signed into my account). It seems like something is wrong with my account for some reason. Any help would be most appreciated. I have verbose debug logging and enabled and can provide that if requested.
These servers are in multiple different locations, and other users can login and stream from all of them. I’m authorized on all of them. The issue isn’t connectivity, HTTPS has been enabled on all of these servers since they went live and others are connecting via SSL fine. Just to reiterate the symptom doesn’t just follow my latop, it follows my account even from a colleagues Mac (using chrome) that’s authorized for the same servers with the same spinning (even though when he logs into his account all of the same servers show up fine). I apologize if I wasn’t clear before.
Are you using some kind of Anti-virus which tries to scan encrypted communication for viruses?
In this case the connection fails, because the Antivirus does not use the right certificate, so the connection is considered “compromised”.
Disable virus scans of https connections and try again.
