I’m currently running PMS 3.20.8 on Windows 10 x64
I have a number of devices which I use either MS Edge or Firefox to access the PMS on the same network ( I don’t use the Windows Store app as it doesn’t always work for me).
Recently when queuing up a number of videos to stream, either playlist or shuffle, when one finishes, it displays the orange spinning circle, but i will not play the next video - I have to manually click the next button otherwise it will just sit with the spinning circle on the screen.
I have tried different videos to shuffle but always results in the spinning circle and not advancing to the next video
I have used the local browsers running on the server - but still the same results.
The only device that does automatically play the next video is an old Roku Stick.
I believe this issue coincided with an PMS update several months ago - I have recently to reinstalled the PMS and Windows 10, rebuilt from scratch the database - but the issue still persists

… and I can’t get Plex Media Player NOT to autoplay the next episode - when using another app to control it anyway.
Seems this area needs some work, but it should be noted that Plexweb and Plex Media Player are two very, very, very different things. Basically Plexweb is the server interface. Yes, it has a player, it runs in your browser and it sucks. Plex Media Player is what you should be using to watch stuff with:

I will try the Media Player and see how i get on.
Also note: PMP has two viewing modes. The ‘Plexweb’ mode, as the name suggests, looks just like Plexweb. The TV App Mode is accessed by hitting the ‘arrows’ and going full screen. Here’s where you’ll have access to some more settings - that you don’t have in Plexweb mode - and also where controlling it with another app may be necessary if you don’t have a keyboard at that viewing location… where ever that may be.
Well i downloaded and installed the latest Plex pass version - it opened once, i logged in and then it crashed back to the desktop - now when i open it, it flashes up the spinning circle for a second the crashed back to the desktop.
Just uninstalled and reinstalled it - still no luck

and it’s working fine.
This could be an indication that you have a mal-function somewhere.

Same problem here, I’ve been fighting this for about 4 years now. It sometimes works but most of the time not. I’ve tried it played through a browser and cast to TV’s (chromecast). If you fast forward to the end of the movie it always works. However, if you just let it play it only works about 5% of the time.
