Similar longstanding problem here with the Plex player on Mac. Plex Media Server at latest version on RPi… Casting to a Plexamp from the web version doesn’t work either. ---

@BigWheel Any more info or updates, plex has seen multiple version changes since this, people are still checking newer versions too which aren’t fixed. ---

I’m sorry I don’t have any new update about it. When it is fixed there will be a note in the [release notes](https://forums.plex.tv/t/plex-web/20528/417) for the web app. ---

1.32.5.7210-77f7f99fa still broken. The plex web client seems to be trying to access a malformed URL for the plexamp player. Plexamp itself seems to know how to build that URL (to access another plexamp instance) perfectly well. Hi I’m having this trouble too! I went through all of the steps to setup a headless Raspberry Pi setup and it’s disheartening to arrive at the final step to find out that this issue makes all my labor in setting up this new project unusable. My new headless setup seems to be greyed out in plexamp, so I can’t cast any music there. Any chance we could get a fix soon? ---

Your description does not sound like the problem this thread is focused on. Those of us commenting in here are not having trouble casting / flinging to a headless plexamp instance from another plexamp instance. In my case I’m doing that all day. This thread is about specifically not being able to cast to any plexamp player from the plex web client. It’s the web client that is broken. You seem to be having another issue. ---

I think after 3 months it’s unlikely to ever be fixed, plex just don’t care enough about the feature. Given other people have said it should be a fairly simple fix ---
