# Plex Web Shows

I went to download a new Plex server in light of the news I received via email today, “Plex Web Shows are here!” However, when I go to downloads (Plex Pass downloads are on) I’m not able to downloading anything newer than September 21st.

How is this made available today? I’d like to try it.

You don’t need to update PMS for this. Just the right client.

Thanks. How does one update the Plex Web App without PMS? That’s a new one to me. They’ve always been bundled it seems.

You can use our hosted version of Plex Web at [https://app.plex.tv/desktop](https://app.plex.tv/desktop). That will always be the latest version.

Thanks! That actually is what I am using. When I posted it was 3.71.1. But this morning it is 3.71.2.
