# Plex will not play movie

Hello I have a movie that randomly will not play all I get is the circle to say it’s loading . outside of Plex it plays fine on vlc, any ideas it’s :

480i (MPEG2VIDEO)

Audio

Unknown (AC3 Stereo)

It appears to be the only movie so far never had this issue before?

sorry I just seen this : There is a problem with downloading codecs. We are actively working to restore things on back end.  
perhaps its linked ?

I think you can fix it by pressing the triple dot `...` menu and selecting “Analyze” on the movie. If the audio is “unknown”, then plex hasn’t analyzed it and can’t find out if your player can even play it. I had two separate movies do this to me a month ago.

What is strange, is that Plex is supposed to analyze a movie when added automatically, so how did the server manage to miss doing analysis?
