# Plex will not play on my TV

Server Version#:1.28.0  
Player Version#:

No matter what I do I’m unable to get Plex to play on my TV. It used to work fine but now I can only run things directly from the server. Doing it from the TV gives me an error of server unavaiable an I get nothing but the Plex built in movies.PLEASE HELP as I can hardly see My MacBook Pro computer screen as I have cellabar ataxia and my eyes won’t focus well on text. I have reinstalled Plex now numerous times and the server is always unavailable. Thanks in Advance

I would suggest you need to fix your settings on Plex TV client.

**Settings/Advanced/** (Always - Allow insecure connections and Prefer - insecure connections Locally)
