# Plex wont upgrade libraries with new agent

With the new update, I understand there is new metadata agent available. but When i click on “upgrade libraries” Plex says “error while trying to upgrade this server” what do I do?

My server runs on a WD My Cloud Home

Server Version#:1.18.6.2350  
Player Version#:4.64.3

Sorry for the tag, I didn’t find a WD tag when I created the post. I changed it  
For the Movies, I found the agent  
But for the tv shows, I only have:

- TheTVDB (currently in use)
- Personal Media Shows
- The Movie Database

so no Plex TV Series

Are you still running 1.18?

The new movie agent was introduced with 1.20. The new TV agent was introduced with 1.22.3.

Not sure why you were given the option to upgrade if you’re not on a release that supports the new agents.

My tv and movies won’t update on wd pr4100. I am running version 1.24.2.4973-2b1b51db9. Simply shows error message when ttempting update

Never mind… Logged in again and does not show that libraries need to be updated.
