# Plexamp build for FreeBSD please :D

Plexamp is great. It works better on iOS with my car than the Tidal app ever did. So thank you!

However, my main desktop runs FreeBSD 12.1. Can we get a FreeBSD build please?

I highly doubt this will ever happen. Basically the only reason we even have a PMS for FreeBSD is because of how large the FreeNAS community is. Even until recently the FreeBSD builds of PMS have been treated like a second class citizen with missing features. The amount of people running a BSD desktop has to be insanely small and not worth the development time.

That’s sad.

There might not be any development effort, depending how Plexamp is written. And if it were open source the FreeBSD community would take care of it.
