# Plexamp change request

I’d love to see separate settings for showing ratings and codec/bitrate.

I enjoy seeing the codec and bitrate in use, but never use ratings. So it’d be great to have them separately toggle-able.

A middle ground would be to change the rating system to “single star” in the Plexamp settings, so it takes a whole lot less room.

The feature that allows to rate a song in Plexamp is granular to “full stars” 1-2-3-4-5 only, while the same function in Plex application is more granular using halves. Can we expect to have the increased granularity in Plexamp as well any soon?

No, it isn’t. There is already a dedicated user preference in Plexamp for it.
