# PlexAmp compatable with Android Auto Coolwalk?

Server Version#: 1.31.1.6733  
Player Version#: PlexAmp 4.6.2

Does anyone know if PlexAmp will work as a widget in Coolwalk on Android Auto? I’d love to have PlexAmp be my default music source in the coolwalk interface.

I use it all the time, add it in _Connected Devices-\>Android Auto-\>General-\>Customise Launcher_ on your Android phone then it will appear as an option on the car screen launcher. Launch the app from there and it should set itself as the default player each time Android Auto is used. You can also set the music to start playing automatically when the car is started _Connected Devices-\>Android Auto-\>General-\>Start Android Auto automatically-\> Always_ and _Connected Devices-\>Android Auto-\>General-\>Start music automatically_. Works a treat 🙂
