I really like that Plex is beginning to support Linux. With the new Plexamp having a Linux package, with AppImage. I already tried it on Android. I have been missing Winamp ever since I moved over to Linux all those years ago. I downloaded Plexamp-3.0.0.AppImage, but it does not work. It opens up a small window, but it is all grey, and not repsonsive. Running OpenSUSE Leap 15.1 and KDE. ```auto ./Plexamp.AppImage xdg-mime: application argument missing Try 'xdg-mime --help' for more information. Started Media Service: false Linux: Registering MPRIS service. Checking for update Update for version 3.0.0 is not available (latest version: 3.0.0, downgrade is disallowed). checkForUpdatesAndNotify called, downloadPromise is null ``` I have been using knapsu’s Plex Media Player AppImage on Linux, and it works fine. ---

1 The first workaround did not work, with `--no-sandbox`. 2 The second workaround did not work, with `--disable-seccomp-filter-sandbox`. 3 The issue with Redhat does not concern, me > After upgrade glibc to 2.30.9000-18 all tabs in Chromium-based browsers start crashing immediately after opening. As I am using an slight older version of glibc, 2.26 Found this comment > I’m using the latest version of `glibc` , I’ve read it’s required for WebRTC in Electron. Maybe that’s a fix? Which version of glibc does it require? ---

I am getting a very similar error on opensuse leap. none of the suggested workarounds have helped thus far: ```auto user@localhost:~/Downloads$ ./Plexamp-3.0.2.AppImage xdg-mime: application argument missing Try 'xdg-mime --help' for more information. Couldn't install shortcut for Shift+Command+Control+Option+5. Couldn't install shortcut for Shift+CommandOrControl+Option+Right. Couldn't install shortcut for CommandOrControl+Option+Up. I have tried later with Plexamp-3.0.1 and now Plexamp-3.0.2 None has worked. Same output in console, and a small window all grey. ---
