loudness leveling should compensate (your logs show it’s working)
An experiment:
set the “preamp” value to 0dB
Then compare the subjective loudness of your local track and its twin on Tidal again.
Any difference?
It may also be important to verify that every additional processing by Windows is disabled:
(Disable “Spatial Sound” as well.)

My Windows sound settings don’t show the Enhancements tab that you show in the screenshot for my DAC/AMP, but I do have Spatial Audio disabled as well. I still hear the slight TIDAL loudness compared to my local tracks. I am trying to convince myself that it is because they are different audio sources and files, but it is happening to a surprising amount of albums in my library. Most of the albums are straight from the Qobuz Store downloaded as FLAC, which should be the same music file and bit depth/rate. The problem persists, can anyone else reproduce this issue, of local track vs TIDAL track loudness?
Only time I have noticed audio loudness differences between tidal tracks and local is if the tidal track does not have a waveform and the local file does. Sometimes Tidal tracks have waveforms as the song plays some times they don’t, sometimes the waveform shows up 30 seconds into a track, I don’t know why some do and some dont. But thats what I noticed.
The tracks that don’t have a waveform sound a bit louder to me. Same for tracks in my local library. If tracks in my local library don’t have sonic analysis done yet, they sound louder than ones that do.
However, that being said, My settings are set where I do have have loudness leveling on. I have sweet fades on, I have limiter on as well, and I use an EQ.

A few months in, I’ve noticed that all my local music files are consistently quieter than their TIDAL counterparts when using Plexamp. I’ve tested this across different albums, and the difference is clear. Is this an intended side effect of TIDAL integration with the Plexamp Windows application, or is there something I’m missing? The loudness jump for TIDAL songs affects my listening experience, and I can always tell when a TIDAL track starts. Has anyone else experienced this? Any input would be appreciated.
but it that were the case, true loudness leveling should level out the volumes to be audibly equivalent which they are not, local files are quieter even when loudness levelling toggle is on in Plexamp.
