Just want to keep the idea of multiroom for plexamp alive. Supposedly it was demo’d in Sept of 2023, and apparently the devs are working on it. I went from plexamp to volumio about a year ago, and while the multiroom feature in volumio works great, the functionality of the player leaves a lot to be desired, and they don’t seem to be improving it. There are updates, but they seem to be for issues that I don’t have, so they are essentially useless to me. Coming back to plexamp, I am reminded how great the playlist and overall player functionality is. It rocks! If only we could get multiroom it would be great! (I just tried to get snapcast to work, which apparently others have done, to no avail. The how-to’s are dated and do not work with a fresh install of current raspios and plexamp headless.) ---

This has already been suggested / picked up in another suggestion thread. Please comment/vote in that thread in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes. The feature request is already implemented Sonos or DsAudio app. I would like to see if plexamp is able to cast a song A to a network speaker X, a list of songs to a network speaker Y. This is similar to Sonos or DSaudio app that can selected music to a selected network speaker, thus each network speakers or rooms can have different playing songs simultaneously. ---
