I am using plexamp 3.0 on my Android phone and it was able to connect and authenticate without issues, but when I try to run it on my Windows 10 pc, it opens the browser (chrome, friefox, edge) and it sits there at the plex logo. With edge, it told me it failed to connect and I can close the browser, all the other browsers just sit there.

I also upgraded to the latest chrome browser 81, but that did not help either

Here is what the plexamp log has in it.

Hmm, the browser should display a sign-in dialog 🤔 Does it work to sign into app.plex.tv like normal? Maybe JS disabled?

I am able to login to plex.tv like normal, I have tested that on all the browsers as well. I expect to get prompted, but nothing happens.

I have rebooted and reinstalled the software. I then deleted the appdata like I has seen in another post, but nothing so far.

I just installed this app again, or a seperate Windows 10 pc, and I am getting the same behavior. Is anyone using this on Windows 10?

Thanks

Ok, it is now working. I uninstalled v3.0 and deleted the appdata directory, as well as the plex-installer directory. I then upgraded to the recent v3.1 release. Using chrome as my default browser, the behavior was the same. I changed my default browser to the new Chromium (I tried this with the previous version), but this time it worked.

There are still a lot of unanswered questions, but at least it is working now.
