Hi, just got this installed and can successfully fling music to it but all content gets converted to OPUS 128k, how do I force it to Direct Play FLAC? Devices I’m flinging from are set to Max quality for audio. Pi using HDMI into AVR. Havent spotted anything obvious in logs, any tips appreciated, cheers! ---

Hey @deluser. That’s awesome you’re able to fling/cast. Are you running the old Plexamp 2.0 code on a Raspberry Pi or how are you able to do this? I would love to try this out with 3.0. Can you head to Settings -\> Advanced -\> Conversion Bitrate and change it to 256 Kbps? I’m thinking the server thinks it needs to transcode it. This would verify that the server is needing to transcode FLAC to Opus. Thanks. ---

Edit your quality settings, in Settings \> Music Quality. ---

I’m using the instructions from this link [Plexamp for Raspberry Pi Release Notes](https://forums.plex.tv/t/plexamp-for-raspberry-pi-release-notes/368282) I’m using OSX Plexamp 1.1.0 and the full Plex app on iOS to send music. Cant change music quality in desktop Plexamp (as far as I’m aware) and iOS Plex app Remote Streaming music quality set to Original. My Plex server is ‘hosted in the cloud’ whether this makes a difference? Also the Pi is running a Retropie image. I did see this snippet in the log when sending a flac track to Pi Plexamp: DEBUG - MDE: xxx: Direct Play is disabled DEBUG - MDE: xxx: no direct play music profile exists for http/flac/flac DEBUG - xxx - audio.bitrate limitation applies: 865 \> 192 DEBUG - xxx - audio.bitrate limitation applies: 865 \> 192 DEBUG - MDE: xxx: selected media 0 / 389045 I’m amazed I got it working at all, now i’m just one step away from getting it direct playing heh ---
