# Plexamp search button should focus search input text field

I love the new Plexamp, it’s basically what I’ve always wanted for playing music.
One small usability annoyance I’ve had is if you click the search icon, you are taken to a new panel with a search text input, but the input is not autofocused. It would be very nice if the text input was autofocused and you could just start typing right away. My plexamp window is very tall, so it is a long distance between the search button and the text area.
Some keyboard shortcuts would also help here. A way to do a quick search without any mouse use at all would be amazing.

The first click doesn’t focus so that you can see the other stuff on the search tab (fixations, recent searches). A second click on the search tab focuses the search input.
You can use shift + option/alt + space to focus the window and the search input, but unfortunately no nav w/keyboard, yet 🙂
