# PlexConnect and AppleTV on separate subnet

Hey there,

&nbsp;

my AppleTV and PlexConnect both live on a different subnet than all the other devices so 'server.local' only routs to \*.\*.1.4 and not to \*.\*.2.1 (both IPs belong to my server). The problem is, that the AppleTV cannot access all internet-services beside Plex.

&nbsp;

Any ideas how to make PlexConnect work again? This is my configuration:

&nbsp;

**AppleTV**

IP: 192.168.2.2

Subnet: 255.255.0.0

Router: 192.168.1.1

DNS: 192.168.2.1

&nbsp;

**Server**

IP: 192.168.2.1

Subnet: 255.255.0.0

Router: 192.168.1.1

DNS: 192.168.1.1

&nbsp;

**All other computers + another IP on Server**

IP: 192.168.1.\*

Subnet: 255.255.255.0

Router: 192.168.1.1

DNS: 192.168.1.1

&nbsp;

Never mind. Please delete this topic. Airport Extreme does not allow more than one Subnet without using a Guest-network.
