I have 2 Apple TVs (3rd generation) that are connected to PMS on a Windows 7 box via PlexConnect (0.4-dev).

Both devices can sign into MyPlex successfully and discover the Plex server but get authentication issues when trying to access the shared libraries. I have restarted the server as well as the Apple TVs and signed in/out on multiple occasions with no luck.

If I remove the authenticate on network option I can see all the libraries but I want the specific-per-user setups.

Looking back, like an idiot, I went and removed all devices from the Plex setup page that I thought were old and not used anymore. It turns out that 2 of these devices were my ATVs.

How do I \*add\* the devices to Plex so that the devices authenticate correctly? I have deleted the config file for PlexConnect and had a new one recreated but this does not help.

Thanks.

I've tried that without success.

I have revoked the shares and reshared the libraries and I still get "PlexAPI: No Response from Plex Media Server",""PlexAPI: We failed to reach a server. Reason: Unauthorized".

I have logged in as the main user on PlexPass succesfully with the same error.

There is an iOS device showing in the device list though.

When trying what? What was the aTV request plus the PlexConnect request right before that message?

It's when I sign in and it wants to load the main screen and it's when I switch between Playlists/Library/Channels/Shared Libraries.

You have a Plexpass so it might also be worth asking in the "ask a ninja" sub forum as it seems to be a PMS issue from you removing the authorized devices (maybe it keeps a blacklist by eg MAC address that can be edited).

Can you explain what you did to make this work?

Thanks
