# Plexconnect - Trailers is not available - Delays

Hey guys! I have been using PlexConnect for a while now, but the problem is that I'm having a huge delay "Connecting to Trailers" and very often it doesn't work at all.
It can take minutes before i reach into the Main Screen of the Trailers, and often i don't even reach into that and get a "Trailers is not available" error.
The host running PlexConnect and Plex Media Server is running on Linux Mint.
Any idea's what could be wrong?
- Your ATV model (2 or 3) and firmware version (found under the ATV settings \> general \> about \> Apple TV software):
6.0 (6646.65)
- The DNS server set on the ATV (found under the ATV settings \> general \> network \> DNS)
192.168.0.103
- The local IP address of the device that PlexConnect is installed on
192.168.0.103
- The device and operating system (including version number) that PlexConnect is installed on:
- Linux Mint 15 MATE AMD64 (md5 5-24-2013)
- The device and operating system (including version number) that the Plex media server (PMS) is installed on:
- Linux Mint 15 MATE AMD64 (md5 5-24-2013)
- The Plex media server (PMS) version number you are running ( **do not put 'latest'** ):
# Version string - globally available
\_\_VERSION\_\_ = '0.3.1+'
- The local IP address of the device that the Plex media server (PMS) is installed on:
192.168.0.103
- The PlexConnect version number. If using Github source then a time and date of download (look at the creation date of the folder) and if you are using any non-standard setup e.g. Plexify or a fork.
- The contents of your 'Settings.cfg' file (this is created at first clean shutdown of PlexConnect, using CTR+c)

- Ensure you post your **'PlexConnect.log'** file to pastebin and post the link ('PlexConnect.log' is located in your PlexConnect folder). If possible, follow these steps to create a "more detailed fresh" one:

We need to know more about your setup, please provide all the info requested in the read before posting sticky. Also try backing up your SSL certs and testing a totally fresh install from Github with default settings (just add the certs back in but don’t adjust anything else).

Your log does not show any traffic to plexconnect. Did you go to trailers in the ATV while you were grabbing this log?
Aldo put the loglevel =High in the settings.cfg and start plex connect again and then post the log file not just the command window output.

New log! This time PlexConnect worked like a charm, but it's not always like this, very often it works doesn't work.

Have you got your PlexConnect device running in a DMZ or have ports 53/80 open in your router?

No definitely not!
It is just that if the DNS component is exposed to the outside world it would be getting hijacked and might explain your issue.
If you get issues again try a fresh install without changing anything in settings.cfg.

I now noticed it was a internet problem host side which messed things up, again thanks!
